blackbeard's blackbird

first image represents my corny nature...second is from a sketch and painting i am working on...i thought to style it graphically. it turned out nice...and once i have a printer i can add it to the list of things to print. both were colored in photoshop...yeah i think i am getting better.

i didn't have enough coffee today, but i found both within an estimate of certainty to be quite stunning and masterful in a certain style, which i would, if i could study for a long while only to master the art of looking at such an intricate setting of distinct color, shape and movement, i would see to the bottom of if only to see all the way through to the end of my interest in such a work of art.

sorry for the bloviating, holli, i really am drawn to both pieces. they are both stunning. blackbeard's blackbird has a story which is told in the elegance of the style and sympathy to symmetry.

the eyes in blackbeard's blackbird haunt and hollow out a section of me...i think it is a memory that is missing.
